Quievremont Winery offers its newly-released 2015 Meritage and other Bordeaux-style wines and the opportunity to get acquainted with Flint Hill native and writer Chuck Smith. Smith will be signing his newly published Vietnam:Stories from a War, a collection of humorous short stories based on his 1966-1968 “free trip to Southeast Asia courtesy of the U.S. Army.” Smith will also have copies of his first book, Stories from Potomac County: Truths, Half-Truths, and Lies from Rural Virginia and Someplace Else, a collection drawn from his experiences growing up in Rappahannock County.
