SUMMARY:Annual Thanksgiving Service
DESCRIPTION:The Culpeper County Christian Ministerial Association invites everyone to join together for the Annual Culpeper Community Thanksgiving Service at 7 p.m. The Keynote speaker this year is Dr. Doug Springer\, author and founder and president of the\nnational and global disaster relief organization\, “Somebody Cares America/International.” Dr. Springer is considered a Policy Expert by the Heritage Foundation and serves on various boards involving ministries to families\, orphans\, seniors and\nthe like. He has authored many books including the timely\, “Hope For The Fatherless Generation” and his most recent\, “Leadership Awakening: Foundational Principles for Lasing Success.” The day will begin with a breakfast from 7 – 9:30 a.m. hosted and held at the Culpeper United Methodist Church. A dinner will be held at Shawn’s Smokehouse BBQ in Culpeper\, 5 p.m. ($13 inclusive). Dr. Springer will speak at both meals on the subject of his latest book on\nLeadership Awakening. The annual worship service will be held at the Culpeper Baptist Church at 7 p.m.\, with a time of fellowship afterwards. The evening offering will benefit The Salvation Army.
