DESCRIPTION:Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Christian season of Lent\, a 40-day period before the celebration of Easter. Hopewell United Methodist Church will hold a special evening service at 7 p.m. for the imposition of ashes. Pastor Stan Mulford invites all to attend. Located in Lignum\, 12 miles east of Culpeper\, seven miles west of Lake of the Woods.  The church is off of Highway 3\, one half mile east of the Lignum Post Office at 23557 Lignum Road.  Ample free parking is available.  For more information\, call Rev.
