DESCRIPTION:Tom Neel celebrates his 28th year by paying tribute to one of the most iconic Piedmont landmarks\, Ashby’s Gap.  This geographical gateway\, is nestled softly in the Blue Ridge Mountains\, bordered between Loudoun and Clark counties\, traversed by U.S. Route 50 and crossed by the Appalachian Trail. But from a scenic and artistic perspective\, it is a tranquil monument to life here\, as settings of country life with it as a backdrop are numerous even from miles away. \nAcclaimed for his landscape paintings of the Piedmont\, fine artist Tom Neel brings this show\, the first of its kind to singularly celebrate Ashby’s Gap to life.  Hosted by The Hill School in Middleburg\, his oil paintings will be featured in the Sheila C. Johnson Performing Arts Center with an opening reception Thursday\, October 13th\, 6:30PM
