SUMMARY:Diwali - Festival of Lights
DESCRIPTION:After the harvest in ancient India\, the Festival of Lights\, or Diwali\, marked the end of the agrarian year. As a farmer in Virginia\, Sudha keeps the tradition alive every fall now in Amissville. \nDiwali has come to symbolize our own “inner light\,” the idea that we can all radiate peace and joy and have a positive impact on the events swirling around us. \nIndian Dinner Platters available 5-7pm. Vegetarian and Nonvegetarian options available at $25. Antipasto and cheese platters also available at $18. All food MUST be preordered. \nWe’ll be open until 8pm. 5-8pm only bottle or glass sales (no tastings). Wine club members will have reserved seating on the deck. \nBonfire and fireworks begin at dusk and this year we will be prividing chinese lanterns for all attendees to let go of in a beauitful display. \nEntry Fee is $5
