DESCRIPTION:Man’s best friend is taking over the National Museum of the Marine Corps on\nSaturday\, September 22\, 2018! \nWe are wrapping up the last day of summer with our annual “Dog Days” event. The event will include a number of activities based on the vital role dogs play in the Marine Corps as well as some activities just for fun. \nBring the kids! There will be crafts\, a gallery scavenger hunt–and the opportunity to meet the official mascot of the Corps\, Chesty the bulldog. There will also be a bulldog kissing booth. \nOutside\, on the grounds of the Museum\, visitors will have a chance to see working dogs in action and meet many different animal rescue groups. \nDogs are welcome on the grounds of Museum. Please keep dogs on a leash and use “doggie” relief area near the flag pole. \nEntrance to the Museum and parking are always FREE!
