DESCRIPTION:The Combat Art Program in the Marine Corps can trace its roots to 1942 when Brigadier General Robert Denig said\, “Go to war\, do art.” Today\, the Marine Corps’ Combat Art Program collection includes more than 9\,000 works. \nTour the newly opened Combat Art Gallery\, and then young visitors can join us for hands-on art activities in\nthe Museum classroom. \nAll Family Day programs are free and open to the public.
