DESCRIPTION:Oatlands Historic House & Gardens will hold its annual Spring Gala on April 30\, 2016\, as it celebrates being open to the public as a National Trust Historic Site for 50 Years. Oatlands features a magnificent 1804 mansion\, the South’s oldest greenhouse\, terraced gardens and more than 415 acres of beautiful fields for future generations to explore\, experience and appreciate. \nOn April 30\, 2016\, beginning at 7 p.m.\, residents from across the National Capital Region will gather for an evening of elegance and celebration to support Oatlands Historic House & Gardens and its mission of historic preservation\, land conservation research\, education and community outreach. Gala Committee Co-Chairs Mary Sue Kitchen and Katharine Stewart are leading the evening’s efforts which will include dinner\, dancing\, a live and silent auction and much more. \nOatlands is grateful to the following major sponsors for their support of the Gala: Middleburg Bank\, PURE Insurance\, AHT Insurance\, StoneSprings Hospital Center\, and EagleBank.
