SUMMARY:Way of The Cross Through Culpeper
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday April 8\, 2017\, the day before Palm Sunday\, the procession as one Christian family to witness one common conviction: the redeeming power of Jesus will follow a cross from one end of Culpeper to the other\, stopping at churches along the way to join in song\, to proclaim the Gospel\, and to pray. \nTo join the procession\, please park at Culpeper United Methodist Church (1233 Oaklawn Drive) at 10am. Shuttles will drive participants to the starting point. The procession will end back at CUMC around 1pm. \nThe procession will begin at 10:30am from the social hall at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church and will proceed for approximately 1.5 miles throughout the Town of Culpeper. Each of the fourteen stations will feature song\, a Gospel passage\, and a prayer.
