Film: “Dom Flemons”

(Live) Dom Flemons is a Grammy Award winning, rootsy singer/songwriter with a bent toward Americana, folk, banjo, and jug band music. Flemons first came to the public’s attention as a member and co-founder of the African-American string band the Carolina Chocolate Drops. Today, he tours throughout the United States and internationally as “The American Songster.” Flemons strives to mix traditional music forms with a contemporary approach, to create new sounds that will appeal to wider audiences. At the Library of Congress Packard Campus Theater located at 19053 Mt. Pony Rd. in Culpeper, VA. Tickets are required for this free event and can be reserved at www.domflemons.eventbrite.com beginning on August 15. Begins at 7:30 p.m.
