I love when the Piedmont region has a successful business that takes up roots in another region of the state. Case in point: FireWorks Pizza from Leesburg is going to help all those pizza lovers in Arlington soothe their cravings. They’re planning to help out the new Residence Inn Hotel in the Courthouse area (North Adams in Clarendon) feed the hungry masses.
We’re talking wood-fired pizza, calzones, sandwiches, salads, and pastas as in the original location but have plans for an expanded menu. As with the other restaurants in the family (Tuskies, Magnolias at the Mill, and the bakery, South Street Under), they source products from as many local vendors as possible.
Although they won’t open until early Spring, probably March, we’re happy to share the good news about their latest endeavor.
Fireworks will definitely heat up the pizza wars in that trendy restaurant section of the city and will be able to capture a larger audience with its full bar service.
We’ll keep you posted.
