We had a girls’ weekend for our joint birthdays. It was the first night away our friend had from her son, and she got a much needed full night of sleep… along with an outstanding dinner, a massage, and a wonderful breakfast in our room the next morning. It was paradise for a group of overworked professionals who truly do juggle it all.

My wife and I eloped while on vacation in Colorado just before moving to Lansdowne and made a few relatives pretty mad. We chose Lansdowne to throw a “reception” after the fact to appease everyone who was upset they missed the nuptials. Many of our friends and relatives stayed at the resort that night in May 2005. Somehow the party continued in our rooms, quietly of course!, until very late. I can’t remember what time we finally kicked everyone out, but we all made it to breakfast the next morning not too much worse for the wear. Even though we have had many good times at Lansdowne, that day will always be our fondest memory of Lansdowne Resort.

We had our HS reunion there and totally just became the biggest fans. My husband and I and our friends go and hang out there quite often now. We try to stay when we can but with 6 kids at home sometimes gets hard. I think everyone should check it out and try it.
We Love Landsdowne!
