The other day The Washington Post got our attention with their excellent review of The Ashby Inn Restaurant.
Now the latest edition of The Washingtonian (100 Very Best Restaurants) has found its way into the Piedmont with The Restaurant at Patowmack Farm coming in at an impressive #37 and getting a special sidebar mention for one of the Best Dishes in the whole issue: The Croque Madame on house-made brioche. Or as we would add, an example of a dish that further connects the local community as it’s made with ham from Ayrshire Farm.
Dining in the Piedmont continues to attract a wider audience. That’s great news.
The word is out.
