Blandy Experimental Farm Garden Fair 2009, Mother’s Day Weekend May 9 & 10, 9-4:30 Rain or Shine! Come out and enjoy a huge plant and garden supply sale. This is the largest annual event at the State Arboretum. You will find a fantastic selection of the finest perennials, annuals, herbs, small trees, berry bushes, boxwood, bonsai, as well as garden art, tools, and other garden-related merchandise. Free activities for the entire family, including crafts and nature walks for kids and birding walks. There are Arboretum tours for adults. Admission $10 per car, which will go towards the FOSA Endowment.

Blandy Experimental Farm is also the home of the State Arboretum of Virginia, with more than 8,000 trees and woody shrubs on display.
