It’s been a while, but we’re happy to welcome them back: Wine Dinners, and one for Beer. Starting this Sunday (Sept. 20) and continuing through the Fall on select Sunday evenings (Oct. 18 and Nov. 8), Lansdowne Resort in Leesburg plans to bring back the paired dinner tradition they initiated in the ’90s. The October event is a Flying Dog Beer pairing.
This Sunday’s roll-out focuses its menu on sustainable fish, both farmed and wild-caught, from New Zealand to Belize. This event is sponsored by The CleanFish Alliance. Here’s your chance to taste some of the more unusual headliners such as Laughing Bird Shrimp, South Carolina Wreckfish and a sampling of salmon from various ports of call including salmon from Tasmania. Each evening begins with appetizers and beverage pairings, followed by a 5-course paired dinner.
Join the chefs and the individual sponsors for an evening On the Potomac at Lansdowne, 703-729-4073.
