Yesterday the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington announced its nominees for the annual RAMMY awards. Categories cover a wide range of expertise from top pastry chef to the wine and beverage program. All the obvious categories are mentioned including nominations for best new restaurant, chef, restaurant employee, power spot, and hottest restaurant bar scene.

Clyde’s Willow Creek Farm in Broadlands is a nominee with four other contenders for its lively bar scene. They know how to do a Happy Hour as their Afternoon Delights menu is available from 4-7 PM and from 10-midnight, M-F. Or maybe their scene gets the lively nod for Mondays when it’s 1/2 price wine night. Live music on weekends makes the bar scene an easy happening place.
