9 & 10, 2009 don’t miss the Crozet Arts & Crafts Festival. This festival is considered one of central Virginia’s premier juried Arts & Crafts events. There will be over 100 of the finest artists and craftspeople from around the nation. This two-day event is held, rain or shine. For Crozet this is THE place to find one of a kind, handmade items of pottery, textiles, leather, glass, wood, metal as well as beautiful photography and art. A Wine tasting tent has been added to the event. There are going to be six local wineries at the festival. Get a festival glass and stop by for a taste of wonderful Virginia Wines.

The art is only one aspect of the event, the menu includes a variety of foods ranging from fresh popped Blue Ridge Kettle Korn, Lion’s Club famous gourmet hot dogs, K&R BBQ, local favorite La Cocina del Sol and much more. There is childrens entertainment including sand art, face painting, and more! Come out and enjoy a day in the shadows of the Blue Ridge Mountains and marvel at the beauty of the Virginia countryside. The gate admission is only $5 for adults, and children under 12 are free. Admission to the wine tent after entering gate is $8 and includes a souvenir glass. No pets.
