Loudoun County, with the editorial assistance of Ellen Kassoff-Gray (wife of chef Todd Gray, of DC’s Equinox Restaurant and Middleburg’s Market Salamander) has just released a new edition of the Touring Guide to DC’s Wine Country. The guide is divided into five area clusters for destination outings to plan visits to wineries, restaurants, and local food and wine businesses.

The impressive looking, handy, car-sized guide book is chock full of information about each of the wineries, the five selected destination restaurants, newer restaurants, accommodations, and profiles of the people in the County’s food and wine industry. Listings include cooking classes, recipes, wine tasting tips, and chef profiles.

The detail of information should help any weekender or daytripper plan an accessible, fun outing.
