What a better way to spend a glorious fall weekend than at a country fair nestled in the rolling foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains? The historic village of Bluemont hosted a fabulous fair this weekend, and judging by the delighted reaction from the crowd, the 39th annual fair was a roaring success. The Piedmont Virginian spent a perfect Sunday strolling through the arts stalls, buying up baked goods from the mouthwatering display, and talking with the environmental activists (along with our family who live there). We’re already anticipating next year’s event!
