(Live) Dom Flemons is a Grammy Award winning, rootsy singer/songwriter with a bent toward Americana, folk, banjo, and jug band music. Flemons first came to the public’s attention as a member and co-founder of the African-American string band the Carolina Chocolate Drops. Today, he tours throughout the United States and internationally as “The American Songster.” Flemons strives to mix traditional music forms with a contemporary approach, to create new sounds that will appeal to wider audiences.
