Double Feature: “A Town Called Panic” and “Metropolis”
Saturday, March 26, 2016 @ 7:30 pm - 11:00 pm
A film unlike anything you’ve seen before, “A Town Called Panic” (Zeitgeist Films, 2009) tells the story of Indian, Cowboy, and Horse, who share a house in the country. The film is in French, with English subtitles. For “Metropolis” (UFA, 1927-Kino Lorber, 1984), composer Giorgio Moroder embarked on a personal project to present a restored and “modernized” version of Fritz Lang’s silent sci-fi epic. Starts at 7:30 p.m. Free, at the Library of Congress Packard Campus Theater, 19053 Mt. Pony Rd. in Culpeper, VA. No reservations required. For more information, call 202-707-9994.
