A celebration of National Poetry Month
Please join the Friends of the Culpeper County Library at 2 p.m. to listen to local poets. Dr. David Sam will be joined by poets from the Windmore Foundation of the Arts. Featured poets are Gary Misch, Laurel Van Horn, Fran Cecere, Rose Jacob, Nancy Scot, Gwen Monahan, and Pennie Patterson. Windmore will have two Windmore Writers Anthologies available for sale. The Last Dragons Film Fest
The Last Dragons is one of 20 films in The Wild & Scenic Film Festival, set for 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Germanna Community College’s Daniel Technology Center, showcases a different kind of action movie: environmental action. Adventurers who love spending time outdoors share their passion on film as they bike, climb or paddle across some of the world’s most beautiful places. Doors open at noon. Part of Germanna Presents!
