Team Jordan Meeting
Team Jordan will be holding its quarterly meeting Saturday July 29th at The Culpeper Police Department Community Room 740 Old Brandy Road at 10am. Mr. Robert Legge, Board Chair for the RRCS will be the Guest Speaker, also Ms. Kaitlyn Nickson the New Prevention Support Coordinator for RRCS will be in attendance. Libations on the Lawn

Culpeper Persisters Huddle Meeting
Culpeper Persisters Huddle, Organizing for Change: Recruiting friends and neighbors without an argument, 1 to 3 p.m. Location: Culpeper County Library Community Room 271 Southgate Shopping Center, Culpeper, VA 22701. This workshop will focus on how to engage voters who rarely come out for elections or only vote the top of the ticket and ignore local down ballot races. The training will include role playing exercises to help you listen more and talk less to find out what issues really concern these voters. Armed with this knowledge you can then help them to better understand the choices in down ballot races.
Memory Cafe Meetup

Libations on the Lawn
The Museum of Culpeper History hosts “Libations on the Lawn” from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The Museum’s popular Libations on the Lawn event will again be held behind the Burgandine House at 803 S. Blessing Of the Animals
All are invited to our annual Blessing of the Animals service at 5 p.m. at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 115 N. East Street, Culpeper. Pets will receive special blessings and healing prayers. Treats will be provided following the service. Be sure to properly restrain all animals and bring a bag for accident clean up.

Pollinator Garden Planting Day
Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries, the Old Rag Master Naturalists, and the Town of Culpeper will conduct a planting day for a newly designed Pollinator Garden in Yowell Meadow Park. The Pollinator Garden will contain a variety of native trees, shrubs, and perennials to attract and nurture a variety of butterflies, bees, and other pollinators.
The Planting Day will be held on Thursday, October 12th starting at 9 a.m. with a rain date for the following Thursday, October 19th. The Town of Culpeper has already begun construction of the garden pathways in preparation for the planting day. The public is invited to attend and assist with the planting. There will be also opportunities to hear about the benefits of planting native plants in a pollinator habitat garden both in public places and at home.
Celebrate Unity Event
Music and dance will play a big part in the Celebrating Culpeper’s Unity event scheduled at 7 p.m. at Eastern View High School. The program is scheduled to take place in the cafeteria, to accommodate the performers and to foster socializing and enjoying
refreshments together.
The event will showcase fellowship and an appreciation of a variety of cultures found in the Culpeper area. This cultural celebration is sponsored by the Culpeper members of the Baha’i Faith who believe that one God created our world and loves all his children all around the globe.
