Highland County Maple Festival Trip
Join us Saturday, March 12th at 7:00 am to take a step back in time to Highland County. Travel the back roads and mountain byways to the annual Highland Maple Festival.
Each year, thousands of visitors are drawn to this unspoiled, rural region of Virginia to celebrate the “opening” of the trees and observe the process of maple syrup-making. This will be a unique and educational experience that portrays a rapidly vanishing way of American life.

The Flower and Garden Festival is not just about flowers—or gardening. The festival has many different parts and pieces and that’s what makes it great for the whole family. Sure, we have lots of great plant vendors with everything from heirloom veggies to exotic orchids but we have so many other great finds too. Take your time to stroll the streets and see all the treasures hidden within the event. Tasty food, inspiring gift ideas, and one-of-a-kind art are just a few examples of what you will find around every corner.
But it is more than shopping – it’s a full day experience when you take in all the sights and sounds of the festival. During your visit, be sure to visit our Main Stage to listen to some great tunes or take the kiddos to the children’s area for some hands-on fun. Make it a point to check out the amazing landscape displays that grow up overnight- then vote for your favorite! And be sure to hit the Wine and Beer Garden for a sampling of the region’s finest spirits. So get your wagon ready and join us at the 26th Annual Flower and Garden Festival.
