Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead
An Irish Evening at Franklin Park Arts Center
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at Franklin Park Arts Center with a complete Irish evening — live traditional music, dancers and of course the internationally acclaimed Irish Tenor, Mark Forrest. Though he lives in Loudoun County, Mr. Forrest rarely performs in this area so it is quite a treat to welcome him to Franklin Park for the first time. He will be joined on stage by the traditional music group, Seasons, featuring the harp, hammer dulcimer, mandolin and the fiddle. There will be a meet and greet reception afterwards. This is a green, white and Gold Star performance. Tickets are $45 in advance, $55 at the door.

For the first time, Ash Lawn Opera will take its mainstage opera on the road, with a fully-staged performance of Così fan tutte at The Paramount Theater for performances on July 10, 13, and 15. Book Talk By Lesley Lee Francis – You Come Too: My Journey with Robert Frost
Join us on April 22 as Lesley Lee Francis, granddaughter of the beloved American poet Robert Frost, talks about her new book, You Come Too: My Journey with Robert Frost. In the book, she combines priceless personal memories and rigorous research to create a portrait of Frost and the women, including herself, whose lives he touched.
Francis’s invaluable insights into Frost’s poetry and her inclusion of previously unpublished family writings and photographs make this book essential to Frost scholarship. But You Come Too will appeal to anyone interested in this great poet’s life and work. It also reveals unforgettable stories of strong, independent women and their passion to create and share poetry.
