Join us in Narmada’s wine cellar to taste upcoming vintages of Yash-Vir, Melange, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Franc Reserve. Still in their youth, these wines are expected to age in oak for another year before bottling. At this exclusive tasting, winemaker Sudha Patil will explain the process of how the wines were blended, what each varietal adds to the blend, and how they are expected to develop in the coming months. Learn about Narmada’s Barrel Ownership Program, and reserve a case of your favorite wine at the conclusion of your tasting.

We could call this Wine 301 – an advance class on all the basics of wine. Spend 2 hours with us and we’ll turn you into a certified wine snob! Led by our wine maker, Carl, this seminar is the snob free zone in plain English all about wine. Learn how to achieve aeration perfection, how to behave in a restaurant, and all the tidbits about wine nobody will tell you. The session includes a molecular pairing experiment with a sandwich, a chocolate pairing session & the Dirt Road Wine Tour. This event happens every Saturday and Sunday at Little Washington Winery.

On the third weekend of January, February and March, we’ll be serving up a hot bowl of chili with a glass of wine – bring your family out of hibernation this winter and savor the warm atmosphere of the winery!

The class we never attempt all at once … the triple threat challenge. We’ll taste all of our favorites: cheeses and chocolates and wines together to see what it does to our palate.
