Will Lee, Danny Knicely & John Flower: Album Release Concert at Barns at Rose Hill
Don’t miss the album release concert of Will Lee, Danny Knicely, and John Flower’s new album The Evening News!
Will (banjo, guitar), Danny (mandolin, guitar) and John (bass) navigate a deep and intuitive current of time, melody and harmony that will move you. Their brand new project – The Evening News – includes originals, old favorites, a cappella and hot instrumental numbers, and tight harmony singing takes a spotlight with Will’s smooth lead and baritone, Danny’s cutting tenor, and John’s soaring high-baritone.
Danny and John are both known for their work with David Via and Corn Tornado in the early 2000s, while Danny and Will released a well-received duet album in 2006 called Murders, Drownings and Lost Loves, but the three first performed together as part of the award-winning Magraw Gap in the mid-1990s. Their over twenty years of experience making music together comes through in a concert full of excitement and sentimentality.

Griffin House
Griffin House didn’t begin playing guitar and writing songs until he was 18. The athletically gifted House shocked his family by turning down a sports scholarship to focus on music and, after graduating, moved to Nashville, started doing solo gigs and, within months, was headlining and touring with the likes of John Mellencamp and the Cranberries. Attracting the attention of major labels, he signed with Vancouver label Nettwerk and released Lost and Found.
His intelligent, heart-felt lyrics and melodies have made such songs as “The Guy Who Says Goodbye to You Is Out of His Mind” and “Better Than Love” radio mainstays. House released his 8th album BALLS in 2013, garnering even more commercial and critical acclaim.
Last year House released SO ON AND SO FORTH – a collection of original tunes that are considered some of his best yet and sure to please both old and new fans.

The “Strawberry Moon” is so-named because the Algonquin tribe used it to judge when strawberries were ready to harvest. We’re using it as an excuse to drink wine under the stars!
Not only that: we’re offering tapas on this night only!
Tapas are available by reservation only; reservations for tapas must be made by June 7. The cost for tapas is $30 per couple.
