Parents Night Out Fundraiser
Culpeper County High School Soccer Boys Soccer program will be hosting a Parents Night Out Fundraiser! Enjoy a relaxing night out on the town while the CCHS Soccer Coaches (certified teachers) and players host a fun mini-soccer camp for the kids! Runs 5-9 p.m. $25 for one child, $10 per sibling. Available to children 3 and up. Children must be potty trained. Dinner provided by Cheese Pizza. Held at the high school,14240 Achievement Drive, Culpeper. Mozart’s Opera “Cos fan tutte” by Ash Lawn Opera
The summer season kicks off with Così fan tutte, one of Mozart’s most memorable operas. The witty and heartfelt story begins with a game of love and seduction when two young men decide to test their fiancées’ fidelity, only for both couples to discover the fickleness of attraction. For the first time, Ash Lawn Opera will take its mainstage opera on the road, with a fully-staged performance of Così fan tutte at The Paramount Theater for performances on July 10, 13, and 15. This comedic classic, full of mistaken identities, deceptive servants, jealous lovers, and sublime music, is a production you won’t want to miss.

Chasing Light: an Exhibit of Photographs from the National Parks by Frank Lee Ruggles
Ruggles is the Artist Ambassador for the National Park Trust and former Official National Park Service Photographer. He is currently working on a film for the Park Service that will air on the National Geographic TV network in 2017.
The exhibit features sixteen photographs of some of his varied works. The exhibit will hang in the lower level meeting room of Thomas Balch Library until May 31.

MADE IN TENNESSEE: MANUFACTURING MILESTONES
In March 2016, the Birthplace of Country Music Museum unveiled the special exhibit “Made in Tennessee: Manufacturing Milestones.” The exhibit chronicles the rich variety of manufacturing traditions in Tennessee over the past 2 ½ centuries from the early agricultural and craft heritage to our current age of advanced technology and global competition. The diverse panels and artifacts highlight the history of manufacturing in Tennessee, while also featuring a huge variety of the industries and companies that were once found – or still exist – throughout the state, including several local manufacturers. The museum will also host a variety of programs throughout the life of the exhibit.
“Made in Tennessee: Manufacturing Milestones” is a traveling exhibition organized by the East Tennessee Historical Society in Knoxville, Tennessee. The exhibition project was made possible through an educational grant from the Alcoa Foundation to highlight Tennessee’s manufacturing story—past, present, and future. The grant was awarded in honor of Alcoa Tennessee Operations 100th Anniversary and the announcement of its automotive expansion project on May 2, 2013. Additional support comes from the Tennessee Valley Authority.
The exhibit will run at the museum from March 1 to August 14, 2016.

Agritourism Grant Workshop & Networking Session
The Rappahannock-Rapidan Regional Tourism Committee will host an Agritourism Grant Workshop and Networking Session at Prince Michel Winery & Vineyard from noon – 4 p.m. The Regional Tourism Committee will provide an update and overview of the Tween Rivers Trail. Steve Gaylean, Director of Partnership Marketing Development for the Virginia Tourism Corporation,
will present information on VTC’s Marketing Leverage Program. This program is designed to stimulate new tourism marketing programs and extend the “Virginia is for Lovers” campaign.
