Check out a locally produced flick at Charlottesville’s Regal Downtown Cinema this week. Maybe you’ll even want to watch Familiar Strangers a few times. (Its national distribution depends on regional success so get out there and support the arts!) Filmed in Staunton, Familiar Strangers is an “off-beat, funny, heartfelt story of an American family negotiating the changing relationships between parents and children, especially as those children grow into adulthood.”
