The popular Outstanding in the Field program comes into our region this September, but two of the three nights are already sold out. Your last chance to experience the fun of being on the land and dining outdoors at the source is Monday, September 7th.
The event begins at 3PM and continues until dark sets in. The program begins with a tour of the host farm, Ayrshire Farm, with host farmers Sandy Lerner and Susie Hass, and then a five-course meal prepared by guest chef Bryan Moscatello of Washington DC’s Zola and Potenza. Each course is paired with wine.
The farmers, the producers, and the winemakers join other local artisans who helped contribute to the special dinner making this an exciting local food event. As a bonus you get to dine at Ayrshire Farm.
