Let the countdown begin. In a matter of days, the highly-acclaimed Virginia Festival of the Book will begin in Charlottesville. In its 15th year, the Virginia Festival of the Book is the Mid-Atlantic region’s most heralded celebration of books and literary culture. To be featured is the National Geographic book Journey Through Hallowed Ground: Birthplace of the American Ideal in a special session with NG cover photographer Kenneth L. Garrett and JTHG Partnership President Cate Magennis Wyatt. Like many festival events, the panel is free, and scheduled for Thursday, March 19th at 6 pm in the City Council Chambers at 605 E. Main Street.
