
This weekend Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17 come out and experience Loudoun County’s Spring Farm Tour. From 10:00 am to 4:00pm enjoy this self guided driving tour down country roads leading you to participating Loudon County farms and wineries at no cost at all! The Spring Farm Tour weekend serves as an introduction to Loudoun’s growing season. Here, you will be able to buy spring seedlings and plants for your home; say hello to farm animals, and greet spring babies; tour a winery; learn how food gets from the farm to your table; and much more. Bring the whole family for a day, or even two days of fun, education, and agritainment. Participating farms from A-Z on the Spring Farm Tour, there will be something for everyone.Bring your four legged friend down to Purcellville and experience the fun activities of dog day at the Breaux Vineyards while you enjoy live music, Cajun Gumbo, Andouille sausage sandwiches, hayrides and wine tastings. Not animal friendly? Stop at Sunset Hills Vineyards , where there will be guided tours of the working winery and vineyard, all while enjoying Sunset Hills’ delectable wine. If you are more in the mood for a savory meal, start at Clyde’s Willow Creek Farm in the Broadlands for a true farm to fork experience. Here, you can tour the working garden that includes fresh herbs and heirloom vegetables along with two recently restored barns. For a more hands on experience, stop off at The Equine Rescue League in Lovettsville where you can visit with ponies, donkeys and horses of all ages and sizes. Anything from Farms to Vineyards, along with a fine dining experience, you will be able to find on this tour and without a doubt be able to enjoy this entire weekend with the whole family!
