The Boar’s Head Inn has taken the guesswork out of weekend planning this spring with a full month of special wine and food events. Beginning the weekend of March 6th with King Family Vineyards, the pairing events continue on successive weekends. Whitehall Vineyards the weekend of March 13th, Barboursville Vineyards, March 20, and Jefferson Vineyards, March 27.
Guests have an opportunity to meet the new executive chef, Terrence Sheehan, the weekend vintner, and enjoy a four-course paired dinner. Two different types of packages are available. The Vintner & Culinary Package, from $907, includes a two-night stay with a luncheon cooking class and a private winery tour. The Reception & Dinner Package, from $135, available for the last three weekends, starts with an opening reception and includes the four-course pairing dinner. Both include all taxes and gratutities.
