Back in June, the savvy editors over at Daily Candy spilled the beans about some of the best finds in the picturesque town of Middleburg in Virginia hunt country. No, it wasn’t the Washington D.C. edition of the wildly popular e-zine, but the Everywhere edition of Daily Candy, meaning folks from Alaska to Key West were reading about this “quaint gem just an hour jaunt from D.C.” Daily Candy’s picks? The Goodstone Inn and Estate for beautiful digs, The French Hound for steak frites, Mello Out for chocolate-dipped marshmellos, Swedenburg for wine tasting, and the Middleburg Antique Emporium for some “oldies but goodies.”
