Aha. Knew I could get your attention! If you have a business that could benefit Loudoun County’s tourism growth, you might be able to grab some money from the Loudoun Convention & Visitors Association Tourism Marketing Leverage Program.
The simple translation: Help the County bring in tourists which will help your individual endeavor and strengthen the economic picture. The program has been updated over its earlier outreach and will cover promotions taking place in Loudoun from July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010. Applications are due by April 24.
The best bet is to attend one of the pre-application meetings, either March 24 at 5:30 or March 30 at 2:30, at the LCVA’s new location at Market Station (112-G South Street SE) in Leesburg. If planning onĀ attending, RSVP the Marketing Coordinator at 703-771-2170 ext 20 or by email at sheetz@VisitLoudoun.org. by the Friday prior to the meeting.
This a simple concept: Come up with a great idea, earn marketing dollars, and improve the County’s overall tourism position. Everyone wins.
