The PEC’s “Meet the Farmer” dinner at Palladio Restaurant at Barboursville Vineyards will
be held on Wednesday, June 10th. The evening will feature an exceptional four course meal prepared by Palladio’s celebrated chef, Melissa Close and guest chef Jonathan Hayward. There will be dishes prepared with the finest foods our local farms have to offer, including meats, vegetables, fruit, artisan cheeses and breads, and, of course, each is paired with Barboursville wines. The farmers who produced the foods will join the dinner
and share the stories behind the food. Some of the farmers attending are from Springlake Farm, Green Fence Farm, CaroMont, Perfect Flavor, Planet Earth Diversified, Everona Farms and Polyface Farm. This is a unique opportunity to experience a world-class meal and really discover how the food arrived to at your plate. Tickets are $100 a
