No one seems to know how long the economy will toil along ever so slowly, but most people believe that the spendthrift ways of yesteryear have been replaced by a more practical approach. That philosophy definitely applies to dining out. It’s been a tough year for the restaurant industry, and restaurants that are still in business are grateful for their diners and continue to look for ways to fill tables.
Clyde’s Willow Creek Farm has topped the promotion charts. Now every day is special; not just a promo here or there but price-cutting strategies that should encourage multiple restaurant visits. They’ve had half-price wine nights on Mondays for a long time, but look at some of the other possibilities: Wednesday lunch and dinner includes half-price appetizers. Saturday lunch means half-price burgers, but my favorite promotion is the 3-course $25 prix-fixe menu, available nightly. Not just a restaurant week promo; but nightly.
Thanks, Clyde’s. We appreciate your recognition that we are all in this together!
