~ Half a decade in the making, the Sweely family invites guests to share in their dream ~

Jess and Sharon Sweely, owners of Sweely Estate Winery, are pleased to announce that their winery is now fully open for business. The hospitality center at Sweely Estate Winery houses a tasting room, retail boutique, and three event venues including the Vintners Room, the art gallery and the wine library.  These rooms may all be uses for private parties, like weddings or corporate events. The Vintners Room can seat up to 200 for dinner, and the wine library 20 for an intimate meal. Public events, such as culinary classes, harvest celebrations, and jazz under the stars will be scheduled throughout the year

The Estate winery is located at 6109 Wolftown Hood Road (1.5 miles west of Route 29),  in Madison, VA. “This has been a labor of love for me and my family,” says Jess Sweely. “Labor is definitely the right word,” adds Sharon Sweely with a laugh.
