Here’s an opportunity to enjoy wines and spirits from all over the world and foods from some of Washington, DC’s top restaurants. “Toast of the Town” is a five-city celebration of food and wine sponsored by Wine Enthusiast Magazine. After sold-out events in Atlanta, San Francisco, Chicago, and New York, it comes to the National Building Museum on Friday June 11.
As an added plus, The Washington Wine Academy has created an area to showcase 14 top wines from Virginia. Participating wineries include Barboursville Vineyards, Boxwood Winery, Breaux Vineyards, Chrysalis Vineyards, Corcoran Vineyards, Jefferson Vineyards, King Family Vineyards, Kluge Estate Winery, and Williamsburg Winery. The wines selected from these wineries will be the only Virginia wines showcased at the event.
In addition the Washington Wine Academy, a long-time supporter of Virginia wines, will host three brief seminars (in the Wall Street Journal VIP Lounge) about Virginia wines hosted by Jim Law, winemaker at Linden Vineyards.
Time to get organized and purchase tickets for what promises to be a spectacular event. Here’s your opportunity to taste top tier selections from around the world and show your support for the wineries of the Piedmont.
