Last year’s Bluemont Fair was so much fun that we’re gearing up to check it out again tomorrow. Nestled in the Blue Ridge foothills, the historic hamlet puts on a old-fashioned country fair every year that draws quite the crowd. Browse the beautiful artwork and crafts, sample great food and local wines, listen to live music, while your kids partake in games and fun. Sponsored by the Bluemont Citizens Association, the Bluemont Fair will take place both Saturday and Sunday, September 19 and 20, rain or shine. Singing the fair’s praises, Washington Flyer says:

We love the village of Bluemont, and while it’s our little secret, we certainly don’t mind the rest of the world knowing about it one weekend a year.
