This weekend, Saturday and Sunday, October 24th and 25th, is the Third Annual Fall Festival at Clyde’s Willow Creek Farm in Broadlands. What this means for you is great BBQ, live music, a petting zoo, and plenty of time to tour the spacious grounds and see the vegetable and herb gardens and the two restored dairy barns.
Don’t worry if BBQ is not your game, there’ll be hot dogs and bratwurst, grilled chicken, and homemade pumpkin cheesecake. They are even planning an apple butter demonstration and will have candied and caramel apples. Menu items range in price from $3-$5.
This year they planted basil, thyme, rosemary, peppers, tomatoes, and berries. The crops helped feed the restaurant’s daily specialty menus.
What a perfect setting for an annual fun-filled fall event!
