What a perfect combination: Visit one of the Clyde’s restaurants or Old Ebbitt Grill on a Wednesday for the next 7 weeks and select a featured menu item. You’ll help with the Washington Post’s annual fundraiser: Send A Kid To Camp. Not too hard to grasp: The details are delicious.
Each Monday, Clyde’s will post the items that will benefit Family Matters of Greater Washington and the initiative to help send 1,000 disadvantaged youngsters to camp this summer. The program kicked off last week with orders of Maine Lobster and Strawberry (yes, Virginia Strawberries) Shortcake benefiting Camp Moss Hollow. Here’s your excuse to dine out, go to Clyde’s at Willow Creek Farm or venture into one of the area locations.
If the schedule does not work for you, Clyde’s and The Washington Post are accepting direct donations.
