The Charlottesville Symphony opens its 2016-17 season with Charles Griffes’ The Pleasure Dome of Kubla Khan, Dan Welcher’s Prairie Light: Three Texas Water Colors of Georgia O’Keeffe and Rimsky-Korsakov’s dazzling Scheherazade.
