It’s time for the Montpelier Hunt Races, and we at the Piedmont Virginian are very excited! Once again, we have the honor of sponsoring the Tailgate Competition at the races this year and we hope to see all of you there! Be sure to seek us out and say hello! We love meeting and mingling with new friends — and we can’t wait for you to try our very own tailgate goodies!
The races will be this weekend, Saturday Nov 6 from 12pm to 5pm.

This year’s tailgate competition theme will be BUY FRESH – BUY LOCAL — what a wonderful theme! This year’s celebrity chef judge will be Jason Daniel’s, chef at the gorgeous and newly remodeled Inn at Willow Grove.

We didn’t get judged in the tailgate competition, but y’all took a ton of pictures at our tailgate–we can’t wait to see!!! A phenomenal time was had by all!
