Anyone who’s traveled through Round Hill on business Rt. 7 to Hill High Country Store for a divine home-baked pie, understands the allure of this corner of Loudoun County. Originally the apple packing house for Sleeters Orchards, the country store has been drawing quite the crowd for its pies for over 30 years. Heading west from Round Hill, you can’t miss the old-covered wagon sitting in front of the building. Round Hill itself is a lovely place to visit; the Board of the Virginia Department of Historic Resources recently voted to list the Round Hill Historic District– 96 acres including the core of the town– in the Virginia Landmarks Register.
