Maybe you’ve loved his artwork for many years, or maybe you’ve just recently discovered this amazing Piedmont artist when his painting “Winter’s Mantle” was featured on our Winter 2011 issue’s cover.  Either way, it doesn’t take much for everyone (art lover or not) to notice the amazing talent that Armand Cabrera has.

If you’ve  never had the chance to view his artwork in person, then we highly suggest you attend his upcoming event, “Seasons of the Piedmont”, at Barrel Oak Winery from

Friday March 11th thru May 13th.  Weather permitting, you’ll have the chance this Friday (and on other dates as well) to see a rare event when Armand sits down with a blank canvas at noon and completes a painting in about 3 hours.  During this time, you can enjoy the delicious wine at Barrel Oak.  Feel free to bring your dog and some friends — enjoy the wonderful patio with incredible views, drink wine, listen to music and much more!  As Armand paints, he welcomes questions and will explain his process of painting.
