I am in a total panic this week, just what am I going to wear to Gold Cup! I learned the hard way that the toes must match the hat, and as we all know the weather at Great Meadow can be just about anything. The 7 day forecast is in our favor and the course is looking perfect, now I need to plan out tailgate food and drinks. Tailgaiting is such a fun and integral part of the Gold Cup Races, of any Horse Race, and we at the Piedmont Virginian take it very seriously. Our tailgating training usually begins in February with the Casanova Races. The Goodstone Inn & Estate is going to be the Sponsor of the Tailgate Competition, which means great prizes and tough competition.
