Forrest Pritchard, author of “Gaining Ground: A Story of Farmer’s Markets, Local Food and Saving the Family Farm,” will hold a book signing on Saturday, March 1 at 2 p.m. at the Culpeper County Library.
In his book, Mr. Pritchard, a professional farmer, writer and public speaker, recounts his ambitious and often hilarious endeavors to save his family farm in Clarke County, near Berryville.
“Gaining Ground” was named a Top Ten Book by Publishers Weekly, Washingtonian magazine, and NPR’s The Splendid Table. His book will be for sale for $18 at the event.
This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Culpeper County Library and the “Be a Culpeper Local” program.
