Tara Mills
The Market at Grelen, 15091 Yager Rd., Somerset, VA | 5:30 – 8:30pm
Come out this Friday for Tacos & Tunes at the Market at Grelen! Inspired by the Blue Ridge Mountains and the rich musical traditions tied to them, Tara Mills describes her music as ” original mountain Americana”: a blend of folk, bluegrass, and Americana. Based out of Charlottesville, VA, her current project finds her combining her lyrics and voice with Jimmy Stelling’s (The Hackensaw Boys) banjo accompaniment to create a very powerful yet driving original sound. They have played at many music festivals including DelFest, The Festy Experience, Bristol Rhythm and Roots Reunion, and Red Wing Roots Music Festival among others.
